There are many kind of gravity separator equipment which includs grading box, mud separation bucket, conical heavy media separator, heavy media vibrating chute, heavy media cyclone, bevel wheel separation, jig concentrator, chute sorter, shaker, eddy current sorting machine, photoelectric separator, etc.
The gravity separating equipment is the earliest mineral upgrading plant in China, which has been widely used for the separation of placer gold and other minerals, and the gravity separator is very simple then, there were very few garvity separator available, actually hand tools or something instead. Nowadays, the gravity separator equipment develop into mechanized mineral upgrading plant, which has wide range and application and can be adapted to different operating conditions of the different nature of minerals (magnetic iron ore for magnetic separation equipment).
The gravity separator can be mainly divided into shaker, chute mineral processing equipment, jig concentrator, heavy media beneficiation equipment. Over the past 20 years, the development of these mineral processing machine in China is rapid with many new equipment emerging, such as spiral concentrator, moving sieve jig concentrator, centrifugal jig concentrator, ect. with world level and played an important role in the mineral processing industry.
