How to Deal with Coenobium in Ore Dressing

Coenobium means that two or more minerals intergrowth together, which can not be broken by crushing or grinding. In ore dressing,  the low percentage of coenobium has a good effect on ore dressing, so it is necessary to reduce the content of coenobium in beneficiation process. Let's find out the influences of coenobium on ore dressing.

This picture shows a coenobium of silica and fluorite, the white non-transparent part is silica, and the green transparent part is fluorite. Although there is a significant boundary between fluorite and silica, yet it is very difficult to get them monormer separated. This kind coenobium ore has bad infuences on the ore dressing effect of hand benefication, gravity separation or flotation beneficiation. So in breaking beneficiation process, monomer dissociation must be very effective.

First, observe the dissemination grain size, although it is easy for the beneficiation of coarse-grained disseminated ore, but how to achieve the monomer dissociation between ore and gangue?  what crushed particle size can help achieve monomer dissociation without damaging the ore dressing effect? or the finer of particle size, the better of the effect?

In fact, by observing the disseminated ore structure, we can know the disseminated size, some experienced people can conclude the best breaking granularity. It is not the finer the particle size the better ore dressing effect. The smaller particle size, the more difficult the recovery of the ore dressing. So, it is very important to control the particle size for monomer separation.
