Pyrite proportion is 4.9-5.2, mostly are coarsed, medium-grained disseminated in the ore with clear boundaries, which can get monomer dissociation by crushing or coarse grinding, therefore the easiest way of pyrite beneficiation methods is gravity separation using jigging concentrator, shaker and other equipment to get a good washing pyrite mineral indicators. Jig machine has gradually become the main equipment for pyrite dressing, however there are certain issues that need attention in the pyrite jigging beneficiation.

First, there is significant dressing effect of jig machine for coarse and mid-grained pyrite beneficiation. But the pyrite is brittle and fragile. Powdery material happens during the crushing process, which causes big loss in the washing process. So over crushing must be avoid using jig machine as pyrite separator.

Secondly, many are coarse pyrite with big grain size and the coarse-grained pyrite can be separated using large particle jig machine which is no need to grind to very fine granularity for further processing. On one hand the breaking cost is reduced, on the other hand avoiding over crushing happens.

Finally, for the fine-grained disseminated pyrite, neither the shaking nor the jig beneficiation can obtain the desired effect. It needs the use of flotation methods for washing and recycling.
