Today, Forui complete sets of mineral processing equipment sent to Hubei, China for the separation of fluorite and calcite. The mineral processing machine include a jig machine, a dewatering screen and two mineral feeders. The customer placed an order on our jig machine last year with good ore dressing effect, and established good cooperative relations with Forui Machinery.

Fluorite ore easily coexist with calcite, silica ore other gangue, which affect the quality of fluorite ore. So beneficiation methods must be adopted to separate fluorite, calcite, silica and other minerals. Here Forui show you the separation process of fluorite and calcite.

The specific gravity of fluorite ore is 3.0-3.3, and calvite specific gravity is 2.6-2.8, which has no obvious difference on the specific gravity between the two minerals. That is to say gravity separation is not the best choice for fluorite separation. Considering of flotation separation needs big equipment investment, and it's only for the production of chemical grade products, so there are many people love to explore and try the gravity separation of fluorite and calcite.

Commissioned by the customer, Forui Machinery made a big difference on gravity separation of fluorite and calcite by using jigging machine. After the beneficiation test, we got satisfying results, fluorite and calcite are sparated completely by Forui mieral processing machine.

By doing many experiments and industrial practice, Forui found that the separation of similar proportion minerals can be also carried out by gravity separation.
