Tin is kind of silver metal with a strong of gloss and density iof 7.0, low melting point, hardness of 3.75 and great malleability. The content of tin in nature is very low and it exists in nature in form of the tetravalence compound.
 
The beneficiating of tin ore depends on nature and composition of the ore itself. At this moment, most of tin ore are from cassiterite tin deposit with its density larger than density of its inlay gangue. So the traditional beneficiation of tin ore is gravity separation. If the inlay size of the tin grain is micro fine, floatation separation can be ok to work. There is usually some iron oxide like magnetite, hematite, limonite in thn minera and this kind of tin ore is nit so easy to upgrade. Recently, magnetic separating of tin ore has been arised up  for some iron -tin to separate the iron from tin.
