Gold Extraction From Coarse-Grained Disseminated Gold Ore

There are many different types of gold ore, for different gold ore, there are corresponding beneficiation methods.

The following picture shows the coarse disseminated quartz gold ore from South African, in the picture we can see gold grains clealy, and there are obvious boundary bewteen quartz and gold, of course, they have different specific gravity.

For this coarse-grained disseminated gold rock, flotation machine is not the best mineral processing method. Using high efficient gold selection method like Cyanidation can not get ideal effect, neither. Here is why, bulk minerals are grinded into 80-200 mesh particles for flotation beneficiation, while gold beneficiation process is elaborate pre-recovery of coarse particle gold, flotation can not effectively recover micro-fine gold. Cyanidation is for difficult gold beneficiation such fine gold ore with low grade or gold oxide, but it takes too long time for coarse gold, in addition, cyanide is toxic , which generates damage to human or environments.

Forui Machinery suggests multi-stage grinding and multi-stage beneficiation method for this coarse-grained disseminated gold ore processing. set Mercury board at the coarse grinder outlet for recovery of coarse gold grain, the tailings from mercury board enter gravity separator for pre-enrichment, and using Amalgamation for gold enrichment, then the tailings into the second stage grinding,  according to the actual situation, use flotation or amalgamation for the next recovery of gold.
